Our Politicians

Warmington has three levels of elected representation. These are as follows:

  • Warmington Parish Council (a civic parish is a constitutional area, nothing to do with the church)
The first tier of local government, closest to the people of the parish. Responsible for allotments, cemetery, churchyard maintenance, pocket parks, recreation ground, street-lighting, verge cutting (under contract from highways authority), benches, bus stops, most hedge works, local flood resilience, Warmington Neighbourhood Plan and statutory consulted on planning applications.  It organises village celebrations, such as the 2022 Jubilee, litter picks and other events.
