Bus Services

School Buses:

There is a school bus service for children living in Warmington which travels  to Prince William School in Oundle.  This leaves Warmington at approximately 8:10am and brings the children back to Warmington at approximately 4:15pm.

Public Bus Services:

The Stagecoach X4  runs from Northampton through Wellingborough, Kettering Corby and Oundle to Peterborough stopping at the Little Chef on the A605. The journey time to Peterborough varies from 16 minutes to 35 minutes depending on the time of day. The journey to Northampton takes around 1 hour 45 minutes. Both bus services run from stand No 15 in the Queensgate Bus Station, Peterborough.  For current and live bus times for the X4 service go to the Stagecoach website.  You can also download an app.

Village Bus Stops:

There are 3 bus stops in the village itself plus one just outside the village up at the roundabout on the A605. These are shown on the map below

Train Services

The nearest station to Warmington is Peterborough. This is on the main eastcoast line from Edinburgh to London and also provides access to East Anglia, Leeds, Manchester and the Midlands, although access to the latter may not be the most convenient. Train service from CorbyKettering and Wellingborough provides more direct access to the Midlands.

Nearest Airports 

London Stansted Airport is about 1.25 hours drive away, down the A1 and then across the A14/M11.

East Midlands Airport (close to Nottingham) is also about 1.25 hours drive away depending on your route. The easiest route (although not the most direct) is to take the A605 past Thrapston and then join tHe A14 westwards to the M1, go north up the M1 until the EMA labelled exit (junction 25?).
